Moscow, Our First Day at Sea

We left Seattle Thursday morning and arrived in Moscow Friday morning after two flawless Delta flights: Seattle to JFK to Moscow. As for being at sea, well, not so much. We are settled in on the M/S Rossia tied to the quay on a Moscow riverbank.

The first week of May is a national holiday time in Russia so the streets are relatively quiet as locals have left town for a holiday. It promises to make our in-city travel much easier.

The good ship Rossia has everything you need and nothing more.
A stateroom the size of our master bath at home.
Coffee drinks available 24/7
A spacious dining room with good food (Cossack Beef Stew last evening).
Small comfortable library
Two bars (one big and one little) with music each evening. (Last night the bar was quiet as quests were just adjusting to the time change. But we enjoyed good keyboard and vocal from Sergy while we played gin and sipped vodka (of course).
A gracious staff (1 staff/2 guests)
Wi-Fi access
Nice views of the river traffic.

The trip is off to a good start. Today, Saturday, we are off to the Red Square
